Exciting News - Aurelia Osteria will be hosting its first restaurant pop-up at Jam in Logan Square!
It was about this time last year when we held our first summer harvest dinner, and to date, it still ranks as one of our favorites. A deviation from our usual, more structured Italian regional format, this light, summer dinner will focus on locally grown seasonal produce served in simple and delicious presentations allowing the natural qualities of the ingredients to sing. No better way to fight the sweltering Chicago summer than with the refreshing, cleansing flavors of cantaloupe and sweet of cherry tomatoes all perfectly accentuated with crisp mineral whites, light elegant reds and, need I say it: rosé, rosé, rosé! The wine pairing will offer thematic continuity with the dishes as they also look to capture a manifestation of purity with true expressions of their terroir.
